Lund Fantastic Film Festival

We are very excited to present our Fantastic Pride short film package 2022! 

 This year and for the first time we have an LGBTQ+ program with fantastic films that will make us laugh, feel moved, but first and foremost make us feel proud! Also, keep an eye for pop star Oliver Sim starring besides queer icons Jimmy Somerville and Bimini.

 Fantastic Pride features six genre shorts that promise an unforgettable experience! The films are:

• Hideous by Yann Gonzalez, 23 min, UK
  Popstar Oliver Sim is the main guest of a talk-show that soon slides into a surreal journey of love, shame and blood. A three-part musical short.

• Last Queen on Earth by Michael Shumway, 16 min, USA - Scandinavian Premiere
  A farmer wakes up one morning to an unexpected apocalypse. As the last man alive, he decides to throw caution to the wind and start living his very best life. A joyful bliss of self- reinvention then gets interrupted by unwanted visitors.

• Tank Fairy by Erich Rettstadt, 9 min, Taiwan - Swedish premiere
  The magical Tank Fairy delivers her tanks unlike any other - with sass, stilettos and a healthy helping of glitter. Her arrival upends the life of Jojo, a lonely ten-year-old who dreams of dancing and drag.

• Unicorn by Matthew Porter, 14 min, USA  - Swedish premiere
  A bisexual man meets an attractive couple to explore the possibilities of life as a ‘unicorn.'-- a drama free, emotionally non-threatening third.

• Amygdala by Maria Hatzakou, 22 min, Greece
  Anna is having a party, and has invited her crush Maria. She’s far too busy to pay any attention to her little sister Melina. But Melina won’t let anything come between her and her sister. An unsettling tale of sibling rivalry.

• Our Bed is Green by Maggie Brennan, 7 min, USA
  Grappling with a disorienting world and an intense fixation, Cecily finds herself visiting Realm--a virtual reality facility that allows clientele to create virtual facsimiles of real-life places and people.
